Mother's Day is always the Second Sunday in May.

This year(2008) Mother's Day is on Sunday, May 11, 2008 and next year is on Sunday, May 10, 2009

Mothering Sunday (UK Mother's Day) for the Next 10 Years

Mothering Sunday whilst following the same idea as that of Mother's day in America is on a different Sunday every year in England as, although, it is always the 4th Sunday in Lent, this festival's date varies and hence so does Mother's day.

New Year's Eve.

I'm sure you know this also however just to confirm that there are 31 days in December New Year's Eve is on December 31st. 

This year(2008)New Year's Eve is on Wednesday and next year is on a Thursday
