Fresh Water Pearl Freshwater pearls are seldom perfectly round or even nearly round. In rare circumstances perfectly round freshwater pearls are produced, and even more rare are the true gems that have been designated as freshadama by the gem trade. Available in a number of color, the pastel color are the most sort after.  
Rose Quartz or Garnet Rose Quartz: Known as the love stone Aids peacefulness and calm in relationships. Said to ease stress and tension and promotes restful sleep.

Aquamarine or Peridot Aquamarine: Giving warm-hearted energy, this soothing stone is said to pacify nerves and banish phobias whilst ensuring calm and tranquility.
Peridot: This gemstone is also know as Chrysolite, it is claimed that wearing this stone drives away sad thoughts.

Iolite It is claimed to be a good stone for helping find you direction in life as it helps the thought processes. The Shaman's would use this stone to ensure accuracy with visions and in healing ceremonies to influence the spirits. Iolite also helps you to release the discord from your life.  
Spinel (all Colours) Spinel comes in a variety of colors and indeed was mistaken for many years as Ruby, indeed the most famous is the one embedded in the English Crown.  
Imperial Topaz Topaz is the money stone bringing luck in all business enterprises. The term "imperial topaz" is used by reputable  jewelers to refer to topaz that is reddish orange in color and generally of good quality. Topaz is the birthstone for the Zodiac sign of Sagittarius.  
Tanzanite Found only in Tanzania (hence the name) in 1967, it has since become a well known and widely distributed gemstone. In 2002 the American Gem Trade Association added this stone to their official list of stones for December.

Alexandrite This gemstone is named after the Russian tsar Alexander II, the very first crystals were discovered in April 1834 in the  Tokovaya River in the Urals. The discovery was made on the day the future tsar came of age. The most amazing feature of this stone is its ability to change its color. Green or bluish-green in daylight, it turns a soft shade of red, purplish-red or raspberry red in incandescent light. Extremely rare, you'll have to look to the antique market to find a good example of this gemstone. Synthetic Alexandrite, and hence not technically a gemstone, is often used in Lasers.
