Thinking back to your wedding day, was it a lavish affair? If so then it was important then to celebrate the marriage so why not devote some time on that day every year to celebrate your successes with your life partner and to reaffirm your commitment to each other.

Diamond Keeper(Eternity) Ring

In 1761, King George III of England created a fad that became a popular wedding ring tradition when he presented Queen Charlotte, to whom he was devoted, with a diamond keeper ring. This was a simple diamond band worn next to the diamond engagement ring, the keeper ring was meant to protect both the ring (physically) and the marriage (metaphorically of course!). And indeed, the combined symbolism of the diamond and the circle was beautiful; whilst the diamond symbolized indestructibility, the unending circle symbolized eternity. This custom has moved on and keeper rings are now more commonly called eternity rings.

Our Wedding Anniversary Memory Book

This best selling book is an ideal first wedding anniversary present as it matches the traditional year material of paper it also gives a great way to fill in those special memories for every subsequent anniversary year.

The book has two beautifully illustrated pages for each anniversary, one page to mount photos up to 6" by 4" and the other gives details of the anniversary plus space to record memorable moments since the last anniversary year entry.

The book has pages for each year up to the 15th anniversary year and then 20th, 25th, 30th and every 10th year till 50th, it also lists the relevant gift themes for each year.

Unless you know different we are not aware of the following anniversaries having a special name or symbol/material associated with them;

65th Wedding Anniversary (our Wedding Anniversary history page tells why)
Any anniversary not devisiable by 5 after the 50th Anniversary. (Check it on our Wedding anniversary selction page)
Number of years you’ve been married equals the calandar day you got married e.g. if you got marriaed on the 11th September and you’ve been married 11 years.
Married to your partner for half your life, I think this should be called the Half-life Anniversary!
